Diagnóstico: Códigos de Error (modelos 2000 en adelante)

para modelos 2004 en adelante

1 -Pon el interruptor de arranque en la posición "OFF" y el interruptor Run/Stop en "Run".

2 - Mantén apretado el botón de reajuste del odómetro.

3 - Gira el interruptor de arranque a la posición "Ignition" y suelta el botón de reajuste del odómetro. Se encenderá la iluminación de fondo, la aguja del velocímetro deberá recorrer su gama completa y las lámparas indicadoras se deben iluminar. La palabra “diag” debe entonces aparecer.

4 - Aprieta el botón del reajuste del odómetro una vez y verás el menú "PSSPt" con la primera selección "P" destellando.

5 - Cada letra representa un área del módulo del diagnóstico. El módulo que está destellando es el que vas a comprobar. Para moverse a partir de una letra (módulo) al siguiente, aprieta el botón del reajuste del odómetro una vez. (de P a S a SP a t y de nuevo a P etc.)
P = ECM/ICM (módulo de control electrónico [EFI]/módulo de control de ignición [Carburador])
S = TSM/TSSM (intermitencias/Alarma)
SP = velocímetro
T = tacómetro

6 - Para seleccionar un área del diagnóstico, apretar y sostener el botón del reajuste del odómetro hacia adentro durante 5 segundos y soltar. Si hay algún aviso de fallo será exhibido el código, si no aparecerá la palabra "none". Pulsar de nuevo el botón para ver si existen códigos adicionales.

7 - Anotar los códigos.

8 - presionar y soltar el botón del reajuste del odómetro. El número de módulo será exhibido.

NOTA: Para determinar si un código es actual o histórico, borre el código exhibido manteniendo apretado el botón del reajuste del odómetro (más de 5 segundos) hasta que aparezca la palabra "clear". Soltar el botón del reajuste del odómetro. Girar a la posición "OFF"e l interruptor de arranque. Arrancar la moto y apagarla, entonces volver a inspeccionar los códigos de error repitiendo los pasos 1 a 9. Si el código es actual reaparecerá.

9 - Presionar y soltar el botón del reajuste del odómetro para continuar con el módulo siguiente.

10 - Para finalizar, girar el interruptor de arranque a la posición "OFF".

AFR – Air Fuel Ratio

ATS – Air Temperature Sensor

BAS – Bank Angle Sensor

CCM – Cruise Control Module

CKP – Crank Position Sensor. The CKP generates an “AC signal” which is sent to the ECM where it is used to reference engine position (TDC) and speed. Home position established by taking readings off the 22 teeth on the alternator rotor.

DTC – Diagnostic Trouble Codes

ECM – Electronic Control Module. (The Computer) Computes the spark advance for proper ignition timing and fuel control based on sensor inputs (from CKP, MAP & TP sensors) and controls the low-voltage circuits for the ignition coils and injectors. The dwell time for the ignition coil is also calculated in the microprocessor and is dependent upon battery voltage. The programmed dwell feature gives adequate spark at all speeds.

ECT – Engine Coolant Temperature. Sensor also controls the cooling fan relay that provides 12 Vdc to the fans.

EFI – Electronic Fuel Injection

EFP – Electronic Fuel Pump

ET – Engine Temperature sensor

FI – Fuel Injectors

FPR – Fuel Pressure regulator

IAC – Idle Air Control actuator

IAT – Intake Air Temperature sensor

ISS – Ion Sensing System…detonation detection

MAP – manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. The MAP sensor monitors the intake manifold pressure (vacuum) and sends the information to the ECM. The EMC then adjusts the spark and fuel-timing advance curves for optimum performance.

TP – Throttle Position Sensor

TSM/TSSM (Turn Signal/ Turn Signal Security Module)

VE – Volume Efficiency

VSS – Vehicle Speed Sensor. Used as an input for idle speed control

También se puede ver en modelos anteriores al 2004, pero es una movida; hay que cortocircuitar unos terminales en el peine de conexión de diagnóstico y tras una operación similar, contar las veces que destella una luz y segun los destellos es un código....
Si queréis lo pongo, pero personalmente yo no me atrevo a hacerlo en mi moto. :shock:

Holas, en vista de lo leído no he podido aguantar, le he dado al boton del cuenta y luego contacto y me ha salido lo del menú en mi sportster del 2003. y sale: d01Clr, d02Clr, d03Clr ... así sucesivamente hasta el número 10, después sale PPU y finaliza con una cifra de cinco dígitos (48677). Alguien me podría indicar para que sirven esas funciones?, he estado buscando por internet y no sé ver nada que me ayude. Mas que nada es para saber si puedo beneficiarme. Gracias

A esto en mi pueblo se le llama ser un ARTISTA, si señor con dos co....., por eso servidor, sigue con los carburadores con un destornillador y pa lante,

Mi pregunta es si se pueden ajustar parámetros como el CO de cada cilindro a partir de los mandos como se puede hacer por ejemplo con una FZ1

He mirado los codigos de error de mi iron y me aparece P0505 "Loss of Idle Sped Control EFI"

Alguien me puede decir que significa??

The speedometer signal is an extremely important input for the Delphi fuel
injection system. The ECM monitors throttle position and speed signal inputs in
order to properly maintain the set idle speed. If the ECM loses the speed signal
for any reason while the throttle is closed, the ECM assumes the vehicle is
stopped and will adjust the idle air control counts to bring engine rpm to the set
idle speed. This could set a P0505 code and adversely affect engine idle.

Según el manual de diagnosis :

P0505 - Loss of idle speed control :
Loss of idle speed control will result if the idle RPM is +-200 from present idle speed and IAC motor is at zero or maximum for greater than 5 seconds.
- Loss of idle speed control doesn't necessarily mean that the IAC is bad. There are other causes such as intake leaks, misfiring cylinder.
- Leaking injectors can cause poor idle. To check for leaky injectors remove A/C. Then with throttle wide open, turn key to ON for 2 seconds and then off for 2 seconds five consecutive times. Replace injectors if there is any evidence of raw fuel in the bores.
- Vacuum leaks - check for leaks
- Contaminated fuel
- Excessive Oil in crankcase
- TP sensor reading greater than 1 % (cable misadjusted), battery less then 9 Volts, or vehicle speed sensor (VSS) greater than 0 will disable idle speed control.
- Loss of battery power to terminal 31 of ECM.

Osea :

Tienes una perdida de control en la velocidad del relantí, que se ha incrementado o disminuido en algun momento en 200 rpm más de lo establecido, puede ser por una de esas múltiples causas descritas
